Christ After Me

I’m Demeta—a devoted Christian, a mother to two adult children (a son and a daughter), and a woman forever changed by the grace of God. I was born and raised in South Florida but now call the greater Savannah, Georgia area home.

 

Like many, my past isn’t perfect. But the beautiful part of my story is this: Christ has made me new. I live in the world, but I no longer belong to it.

I started Christ After Me in 2022 to share my spiritual journey and encourage women who are beginning—or returning to—their walk with Jesus. Whether you’re coming to faith later in life or just beginning to seek God, this space is for you.

The name Christ After Me reflects the journey I’m on—putting Christ first, and letting go of who I was before Him. I’m learning to prioritize who I am in Him over who I used to be—and I invite you to walk that journey with me.
